The “Wishlist Marketplace” sales channel app can be used by Shopify Merchants to sell their products through the Wishlist Marketplace. The sales channel app will facilitate Wishlist to pull Merchant's products to be sold through Wishlist, and also post orders directly to Shopify. This introduces an additional selling channel for the Merchants and provides more sale opportunities.
To connect to the Wishlist Marketplace you must first sign up and then log in. To do so follow the below steps:
Upon Sign Up, an email will be sent to our Marketplace team. They will review the request and get in touch with you for further details.
Once you get approved, you'll be provided with email and password details to login into the Sales Channel app.
On successful connection the user will be redirected to the below page:
Note: In order to change your Wishlist Marketplace app approval status from “reviewing” to “approved” you must click “accept” in the Commission section of the Wishlist Marketplace account dashboard:
This step is only relevant if you are creating new products specifically for the Wishlist Marketplace. If you are simply adding products that already exist on other sales channels, then you can skip to Step V.
In order to add new products, follow these Steps and enter all the required details: Products > All products > Add product
While in your products tab, check mark all the products you wish to add to the Wishlist Marketplace Sales Channel by placing a check mark in the box directly to the left of the products title.
A few notes:
Next select “More actions” then “Add to Available Sales Channel.” This action will designate which products are allowed to be synced with Wishlist Marketplace. If you do not check mark the products, the sync will upload all products in Shopify to the Wishlist Marketplace.
Now that you have selected which products you want to add to the Wishlist Marketplace, you will sync the products. This step essentially submits the products for final review by a Wishlist Team Member. Products will not be published on the Wishlist Marketplace until a team member approves them.
Remember: You must click the “Sync” button each time you add a new product or make an edit to existing products in order for the changes to display on the Wishlist Marketplace.
To sync: Wishlist Marketplace > Account > Sync products.
Once the products are synced with Wishlist, the marketplace team will review products and approve them to be sold through the Wishlist portal.
You will see the product orders come through in the Orders tab under the Wishlist Marketplace tab on the left.
Payments are processed through Shopify Payments and will be deposited into your account.
